Again here I am, ready to write about how I love the change of seasons.
Despite the heat and sun during the day, in the evening time, you can feel that bit of dryness in the air followed by the subtle aroma of autumn.
This climate, with the sounds of fireworks and smells of “omatsuri” (festivals) truly represents for me the end of summer.
I was able to see my first fireworks (see my instagram for pictures!) this summer and have nothing to regret for this awesome summer:)
This first half of the year of freelancing has been such an exciting, learning experience for me, which I’m sure is to continue on through out. I look forward to new projects to come and truly am looking forward to sharing my practice with everyone!
Last week, a legendary yoga teacher has passed away at 96. Mr. BKS Iyengar is one of the most-if not the most influential teacher in the world of yoga today. I had the honor of seeing him last year when I visited the Iyengar Institute in Pune, as he was taking a break on his porch. It was an indescribable feeling to see the man who basically created the basis of what I teach today. Thank you, and RIP.
