On a daily bases I like my tea-based lattes, but once a week or so I like to enjoy a ‘real’ latte. I always make sure I stop by at a cafe that specializes in the art.
With the second wave (and third?) coffee movement streaming into Tokyo, its not too difficult to find the perfect cup.
I have a few favorites, all of which use quality beans, machinery, milk, made by skilled and experienced baristas.
But this isn’t the only reason the lattes here are all so heavenly.
The secret spice is the heart. The barista’s love for the art, their efforts to share it with others, the smiles exchanged when we recieve our perfect cup of latte.
Work for a cause, not for applause. Live your life to express, not to impress.
This makes all the difference.
Great dancers are not great because of their technique; they are great because of their passion.
See, whether you have all the knowledge and skill in the world, you can’t put it into use if you lack the heart.
Vice versa, anything is possible if you do it with love and passion, because then, all will follow.
Above all, be true to yourself, and if you cannot put your heart in it, take yourself out of it.
